SSD vs HDD

Today I will tell my experience with SSDs, I hope you like it.
Since this report is made independently and without any payment of advertising, I could only try 2 disk SSD Sandisk by obvious economic reasons (I do not have the means to test all SSD on the market sorry) this does not mean that I believe that Sandisk are the best.
I tested the SSD of 240 GB in size

Operating systems and computers where I tested:

-Intel Core 2 Duo T8100 2.10GHz CPU OS Windows XP Professional SP3, yes I still have XP and I really like. Which from now on I will refer to as test 1

-Intel Core i7-3610QM CPU 2.30GHz OS Windows 7 Home Premium SP1, which from now on I will refer as test 2

-Intel CPU core i5-2400 3.1GHz OS Windows 10 Pro which from now on I will refer to as test 3

-Intel Core 2 Duo T8100 2.10GHz CPU OS GNU/Linux Ubuntu 15.10 which from now on I will refer to as test 4

This blog entry is directed to all of you that wonder:

Are they really the fastest?
Yes they are, now this answer has to be more elaborate.

Is it worth changing my HDD for an SSD drive?
It all depends on your computer, keep reading.

Will my computers turned on faster?
It all depends on your computer, keep reading.

Are truly the videos in YouTube?
Yes and no, it all depends on your point of view and features of your computer.

Is it worth the time and effort to transfer or clone my drive HDD to an SSD?
In fact, the effort and time is very short in less than two hours I have cloned and made the change, I used EZ Gig Cloning, is fantastic I will let you know more, one of these days.

They are lighter?
Yes totally, here are a few pictures so you can see the difference in weight, it is amazing.

¿They consume less energy?
Yes, HDD Watts 6/7, and Watts 2/4 SSD

Is it going to last longer my laptop battery?
The discs have no major impact on the battery life of a laptop is generally about 10%. The power of the processor and LCD display are those who kill you battery.

The SSD are colder?
Yes, because having no moving parts no fiction or a motor to move, the temperature does not rise, temperature 34-44 Cº HDD, 26-30 Cº SSD

Are they safe?
It all depends on the situation, and you have to keep making backups.

-Magnetic-fields? Yes they are safer.

-Coups or falls? No discussion are much safer, since no moving parts are not broken, is now likely to stop working if the strips from 10th floor. (I have not done this test)

-The New generations have corrected many errors, but I would not use more than 5 years.

- To have your computer running and writing data continuously 24 hours a day: Do not use SSD as it will exhaust its quota writing per cell, very quickly.

- Delete files profoundly.
First you have to find a program that really do it, because the whole system is designed to prevent over enter the same cell, the system will always choose a free cell or a cell that has been used less for longer the life of the disk. Therefore, the only way is to fill the disk several times with random data to erase what we want
Second, this process shortens the life of the hard drive.

Results of the speed test:

-If you have a CPU or Motherboard: they are slow or have over 3 years.
Not much difference, it shows something special mind when opening files or processing video, antivirus scanners are somewhat faster, games are not going faster, but it does not freeze, the flow is well placed for the game (I've been playing more than two hours in a row) also it depends on your GPU.

-If you have a minimum RAM:
Micro suffer frostbite, do not last more than a couple of seconds, the flow of programs or operations still feels forced.

-If you have 2 hard drives you OS on SSD and your files on HDD
The OS is fast but when you try to access your files on HDD notes a brake, if this is not at least 7,200 RPM.

-If you have 2 hard drives your OS on HDD and your files on SSD
The SO will go ok, now that try to access your files there is no delay simply open files without wait time.
