USB 2.x

Hi fellows of Cyberspace, today I want to talk about USB 2.x and several of its improvements, let's start off

Well it has only been 6 years since the introduction of USB 1.x and we get USB 2.0 it was released in April 2000, which is already another level. It has a speed of 480 Mbit / s which is called High Speed or High Bandwidth.

The qualities and utilities of USB 2.0 will always be improved and will find new options for it  for the next 10 years, we will not stop having surprises, detail some of the most important for me.

In October of 2000, it seems the mini ports A and B, this also introduced the terminal for On-The-Go. That accepted both terminals.

In May of 2002, appear what for me is a good advance for this type of connection Pull-up / Pull-down ECN.

In May of 2003 we have ECN Interfaces that greatly improve communication between terminals, as it added a new standardized descriptor that allowed multiple interfaces to single device function.

In October 2003, we have Rounded Chamfer ECN, which was nothing more than making retroactive changes to the Mini-B connectors which results in much longer lasting connectors.

In March 2006, sees the Inter-Chip USB Supplement something that was very useful for mobile technology.

In December of 2006, we said goodbye to the host for USB, thanks to the supplement On-The-Go 1.3

Nevertheless, it was in April 2007 that introduced battery charging technology 1.1 that allowed a USB host that can act as chargers

In addition, this April brought us the cables and connectors Micro USB 1.01

In July of the same year, we saw as the dream came to USB ports. Devices in this state did not reduce power consumption. However, switching between enabled and idle states is much faster than switching between enabled and suspended states, allowing devices to sleep while idle.

The Survivors of the Chancellor by Jules Verner

Mr. Kazallon thought that booking passage on a cargo ship from Charleston to Liverpool would be a charming way to return to his English homeland. If only he knew! This book takes away the desire to be a shipwreck, it describes one misfortune after another, when I finished the book I felt exhausted

As an interesting note

In season four of the TV series Lost, a minor character named Regina is shown reading The Survivors of the Chancellor.

In the movie Hawaii, Eugenio gives Martin a Spanish translation of the book, “El Chancellor” to read.

The Underground City por Jules Verne

Art of War by Niccolò Machiavelli

Niccolo Machiavelli's Art of War is one of the world's great classics of military and political theory. Praised by the finest military minds in history and said to have influenced no lesser lights than Frederick the Great and Napoleon, the Art of War is essential for anyone who wants to understand the history and theory of war in the West and for those familiar with The Prince and Discourse on Livy who seek to explore more fully the connection between war and politics in Machiavelli's thought.

Machiavelli scholar Christopher Lynch offers a sensitive and entirely new translation of the Art of War, faithful to the original but rendered in modern, idiomatic English. Lynch's fluid translation helps listeners appreciate anew Machiavelli's brilliant treatments of the relationships between war and politics, civilians and the military, and technology and tactics. The Art of War by Sun Tzu

 The Art of War is traditionally ascribed to Sun Tzu. It presents a philosophy of war for managing conflicts and winning battles. It is accepted as a masterpiece on strategy and has been frequently cited and referred to by generals and theorists since it was first published, translated, and distributed internationally.

There are numerous theories concerning when the text was completed and concerning the identity of the author or authors, but archeological recoveries show The Art of War had taken roughly its current form by at least the early Han period. Because it is impossible to prove definitively when the Art of War was completed before this date, the differing theories concerning the work's author or authors and date of completion are unlikely to be completely resolved. Some modern scholars believe that it contains not only the thoughts of its original author but also commentary and clarifications from later military theorists, such as Li Quan and Du Mu.

Sun Tzu's Art of War has influenced many notable figures. The Chinese historian Sima Qian recounted that China's first historical emperor, Qin's Shi Huangdi, considered the book invaluable in ending the time of the Warring States. In the 20th century, the Chinese Communist leader Mao Zedong partially credited his 1949 victory over Chiang Kai-shek and the Kuomintang to The Art of War. The work strongly influenced Mao's writings about guerrilla warfare, which further influenced communist insurgencies around the world.

The Green Ray- Julio Verne
