Tips for the first telescope

Minimum sizes:

The diameter of the objective, either lens or mirror, it depends on what the light gathering power of the telescope. A larger diameter, more light.

As a general tip: for refractor telescopes (lenses) are not recommended for anything below 60 mm (best 70 mm), while for reflecting telescopes (mirrors) are not recommended for anything below 100 mm (114 mm is a recommended classical measure)

Be suspicious of increases

It is not uncommon for small telescopes that are typically sold in non-specialized store, announce with great excitement that you will have 500x or 750x magnification. The reality is that you will never achieve such magnification in a small telescope: the images will become dark and blurry, as there is a proper limit for each telescope, which is well below those amounts that are exaggerated.

What do you see with a telescope?

Let's start with what NOT is seen: thanks to technology, magazines and media, we are used to seeing splendid color photographs of all kinds of fabulous astral body... The characteristics of a nocturnal observation, that kind of image, is generally impossible to observe directly.

Another different aspect is the observation of the moon and planets. Moon observation you clearly see the impact craters, mountains and a variety of geological formations that will change with the lunar phase and the illumination on the surface of the Sun.

As for planets, Mercury and Venus will present phases, more pronounced and easier to see in the case of Venus. On Mars we see at their best ice caps, even with telescopes of 114 mm aperture. Jupiter will shine with its 4 major satellites, you can see the Great Red Spot and the main atmospheric features. Saturn dazzle with its spectacular rings, changing the viewing angle with the passing of the years. Uranus and Neptune will be observable as small discs of distinctive color, more green for Uranus and bluer for Neptune.

Automated Telescopes (GOTO)

There are currently an interesting variety of telescopes that are capable of targeting objects simply by selecting their name or by entering the relevant catalog number. Definitely a tempting option for many enthusiasts.

The advantage of such a team is that after some basic settings (location, date, time) and a brief alignment assisted by the same system, the telescope will be ready to point to objects that are above the horizon from which you are watching. It's quick, convenient and allows you to quickly find many items that would have taken a little longer to find by other means (search using maps, star hopping, etc)

Medal of Honor Pacific Assault

Hello fellow Cyberspace, Today I want to talk to you about another video game, Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault.  I’m speaking from my experience playing it and will give you a detailed analysis.  I will also tell you a little story that develops throughout the game.  I will help you get organized and learn some details about some tricks that I’ve devised for you.  Without further ado, please proceed to read about my experience, take in my analysis, learn about the history of the game and finally get some information on tricks you can use when playing Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault.  I know you’ll enjoy it.

•     Note

Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault is a video game involving a first-person shooter.  The game was first developed in 2004 for the Windows platform.  This game is the seventh in the Medal of Honor series.

•     Analysis

The first things you’ll notice if you’ve been playing the entire saga are the improvements that have been made.  The graphics are more realistic and almost never freeze up.
Another very impressive improvement is that this game has 4 levels of difficulty, 3 classic (easy, moderate and difficult) but they have also added a more realistic level.  This level is very different from the other 3 levels in that the screen will not show you the number of those still alive or how much ammo you have left.  This makes it far more realistic and more difficult to navigate.
For you do not shoot your teammates a symbol appears on their heads.  You must save the lives of your companions in this game.  You will get some training classes which teach you about these things, but when you get into playing, the game will remind you.

•     History

In Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault, the player assumes the role of Private Thomas Conlin.  He is a United States Marine assigned to the Pacific Theater in World War II.  The various levels include the attack on Pearl Harbor, the assault on Makin Island, the Guadalcanal Campaign and the Battle of Tarawa.

The visuals are seen from a first-person perspective, with the exception of one level in which the player pilots a Douglas SBD Dauntless in the middle of a dogfight.  The action in this game starts at the beginning of the war with military training and the attack on Pearl Harbor (1940 – 1941).  The game ends with the Battle of Tarawa (1943).

In the Prologue, the game starts with the assault on Tarawa and lasts until Granada is reached.  The protagonist begins to have memories of what he went through beginning with his training as a Marine 2 years prior.  After that, we go off to Hawaii where we are assigned to the USS Arizona.  But the Japanese attack Pearl Harbor and before they reach us we do everything possible to defend ourselves.

Now that the war has started, you are assigned to the 2 nd Battalion Raiders, where you meet up with friends from training camp.  Your first mission is to make a night assault on Makin Atoll.  When you’ve successfully completed this mission and taken it to Guadalcanal, you find yourself fighting fiercely against the enemy.  The final mission is in Tarawa.

•     Missions and Objectives

•     Tarawa Forward

When you disembark on the beach at Tarawa with six other Marines you are facing the Japanese who are there too.  You fall and hurt yourself and when listening to the voice of a drill sergeant you start remembering and the missions begin.
My advice for success:  Remember that in this mission you have to be hurt otherwise you cannot begin the game.

• Mission I – Camp in San Diego, California

At camp you are going to know your teammates: Frank Minoso – gunner, Jimmy Sullivan – doctor, and Willy Gaines – an expert with a rifle. You’ve got to devise a workout in which you familiarize yourself with all the controls of the game.
My advice for success:  You need to practice a lot and use the commands for talking to your partners.

•     Mission II – Pearl Harbor, at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii

You have been assigned to the USS Arizona and as your lieutenant takes you to the ship, the Japanese attack. You need to get into a patrol vehicle as you are under fire from enemy aircraft. Once inside the patrol vehicle, you must defend yourself from the Japanese planes. You proceed to the USS West Virginia to help keep it from sinking and to rescue sailors. Finally, your mission becomes attacking and destroying the remaining aircraft from the deck of the ship.
My advice for success: Although it’s not required as part of the game, you can go about finding wounded soldiers, pick them up and take them to the hospital as a personal mission.

•     Mission III – Night Maneuvers at Makin Atoll, Kiribati

Disembark with the goal of destroying Japanese communications, without being discovered. After getting through a forest, a swamp, and a small town you finally come to the radio tower, which has to be destroyed.
My advice for success: During this part, the most important thing you can do is to move slowly, and look at the tops of the palm trees for snipers.

• Mission IV – Man wounded at Makin Atoll, Kiribati

Your mission is not over as you must now destroy a Japanese fuel tank. At the end of this part, you will find a pilot who has been shot while being stalked by the Japanese. Fortunately, you arrive in time, have Jimmy take care of him and you get out of there before the Japanese arrive.
My advice for success: This mission is very difficult and I recommend caution. You must try to get to the injured pilot as soon as possible and then defend the position using the rocks as a shield as they’ll come and attack you from behind.

•     Mission V – Easy Prey at Makin Atoll, Kiribati

When you’re making plans to leave the island, you are prevented from doing so by mortar fire. You must neutralize the attackers. You’ll also have to rescue Willy before you can return to the boats. When you reach the submarine, you will be attacked by aircraft. You will destroy them by firing torpedoes at them, saving the crew.
My advice for success: This mission is extremely difficult and it’s easy to run out of ammo and expose yourself to enemy fire. When the rescue party goes after Willy it’s difficult because it can cost him his life. The Japanese might win if you cannot save the submarine in less than 4 tries. But don’t worry, it took me 5 attempts.

•     Mission VI Airfield Henderson (Guadalcanal) Solomon Islands

You arrive at Guadalcanal. Your mission is an internet jungle to end Japanese outposts: tanks, scouts, cannons, machine gun nests, trenches, ... At the end, you go back to the airstrip Henderson Field attacked by the Japanese. You must protect the airfield banzai attack. After cleaning stores and tracks, you run into flak. You have to protect the hangars and protect the "Black Cat" when landing.
My advice for success: is chaos and you have little time to think this mission is very difficult hard, remember that you taper a kind of Japanese cannon to defend against tanks.

•     Cerro Mission Bloody VII (Guadalcanal) Solomon Islands

But the Japanese do not surrender easily. In the three hills surrounding the airfield, a fierce defense by the marines, in which you will take part, will be held until the end.
My advice for success: I just hope you like it as you have violence here and much, is super difficult and time may come when you get tired.
Lunga River Mission VIII (Guadalcanal) Solomon Islands
You and your squad come across the Lunga River, finishing with Japanese patrols. Finally, you destroy several ammunition depots, before finishing with a dangerous sniper, and eliminate the forces of the marshes.
My advice for success: the swamps are very difficult attacks have surprises everywhere plus machine gun nests are very difficult to destroy.

•     IX Mission Flying Boys (Guadalcanal) Solomon Islands

Destination: Tarawa. But your plane will not be all laughs: the Japanese attack you. Things get ugly when you have to leave your post scorer to take the control of the airplane after the pilot parachute jump. But then you control the enemy squad. Your next target is a small island full of Japanese. After finishing with planes, boats and radio antenna, you go to your fleet. But I smack into a destroyer and Japanese aircraft carrier, you must sink with you and your four torpedo bombs. After long adventures, you land on the USS Independence.
My advice for success: This is for me the hardest part, remember the best way to drop the bombs and give the target is dare to port or starboard as in the tower of the boat landing is harder it seems.

•     Mission X Tarawa (Tarawa) Kiribati

You go through the entire beach, with the aim of destroying the enemy forces in the defensive half.
My advice for success: you've made it to the last mission congratulations, but this mission is very difficult I recommend that advances in zigzag, and you have to destroy many nests of guns donor strafing and eliminate many Japanese advanced units, or I forgot all this have to do what the Japanese trenches crossing the beach ... just what I want you to imagine that, if you think this sounds difficult to reach expected hill where that damned hill is a piece of hell.

    Tricks:

    History:

In the second expansion pack for Medal of Honor:  Allied Assault, players take on the role of Sgt. John Baker of the 34 th Infantry Division, U.S. Army.  This campaign covers the Battle of Kasserine Pass, which was the turning point of the North African campaign.  The battles involved are the fall of Bizerte, the Allied invasion of Sicily in 1943, the bloody battle of Monte Cassino followed by amphibious landings and the defense of the beachhead at Anzio, Italy and finally the battle of Monte Battaglia which was in September 1944.  There are added Italian weapons for a single player and multiplayers as well as British and Russian weapons from Medal of Honor: Allied Assault Spearhead. Some new British arms have also been introduced such as the De Lisle carbine and the PIAT anti-tank weapon.  This is the second and final expansion packs for MOHAA.

    Experience:

As a review I must say that it feels like this game has been created in haste or maybe with a lack of resources.  It’s unfortunate because it is a good game.  Overall this doesn’t affect the graphics or the sound effects.
Details:
I’m not sure why but if you’re using Windows 7 or Windows XP the game won’t go past the first level.  You will need to use some tricks to change the map so that this doesn’t happen again.

    Mission and Objectives:



    Mission 1: Battle of Kasserine Pass and Operation Torch, Tunisia


Level 1:  You get through the battlefield towards enemy lines and follow the path to an enemy bunker, entering the bunker find the switch that opens the reinforced door.  Continue following the path and find a hidden Flak 88.  Enter the enemy base through the trenches and shoot your way through the base to find the intelligence documents.  Meet with allies in order to leave the base.
My advice for success:  When I say "opening the way", I mean that you are crossing the German trench and you need to picture this.

Level 2:  Destroy the artillery so that tanks can follow the step that covers the Sherman escort and anti-tank mines until you reach a fortified enemy position.  Enter the place, find the ammunition store, place a bomb and run to the nearest exit to meet with allies.
My advice for success:  This part is only somewhat difficult, be relaxed.

Level 3:  Help the allied team release the British prisoners in an enemy fort under siege.  Make the rescue clearing the strong and then meet with an agent of the SAS named Klaus Knefler.  Follow instructions to get an enemy for transport.
My advice for success:  This is very difficult and is designed for you to make a plan and then have fun breaking it up into pieces.
Level 4:  Get the papers to allow you to climb onto the enemy frigate.  Get the documents onboard and make your way through the ship down to the engine room.  Place a bomb in the engine and then find a way off the ship to meet Klaus Knefler.  Escape town with Klaus.
My advice for success:  The color of the background is blue and this part is horrible.  I failed it 9 times before I got it right.  It requires a lot of patience and do not forgot where you’ve come from.

    Mission 2: Sicily "Operation Husky" Flag of Italy


Level 1:  Skipping the glider is critical then you need to destroy anti-aircraft sites and meet with the survivors and allies that rejected the Italian counterattack.
My advice for success:  The Italians are very unscrupulous so only pay attention to their voices and gains can be made without a problem.

Level 2:  Destroy the enemy’s communications antenna then make your way to the Cal 30 machine gun mounted in the jeep.  Go to the enemy’s airfield and sabotage the Italian aircraft hangars.  Send a false alarm from the control tower to escape the airfield.
My advice for success:  The difficult part is not attracting attention.  You will use your sniper rifle a lot.

Level 3:  Eliminate the Italian tank with a bazooka which goes into the nearest house.  Follow the path, helping Allied paratroopers.  Continue on through the house which was taken by the Italians and go into the vineyard.  Meet airborne reinforcements indicated by the people near the barn.  The route continues through the farm to a house where you go up to the first floor and stop the Italian counterattack.
My advice for success:  The beginning and the end are very intense.  They are so difficult that you’ll need a great deal of accuracy and speed.  Remember that the Italians come from two fronts.  It is advisable to collect ammunition that can be found down in the plane, inside a case.

    Mission 3: Invasion of Monte Cassino, Anzio and the Battle of Monte Battaglia, Italy


Level 1: Meet with the British troops.  You need to give the doctor cover to help him search for survivors in the nearby town of Monte Cassino.  Remove the German snipers that have immobilized the survivors.  Find a Bazooka PIAT, eliminate four German Panzers and continue through the rubble of the city.
My advice for success: This part is the epilogue to hell so be prepared.

Level 2:  Using Medical assistance, seek survivors in the ruins of the city destroying the tank assaults on the survivors.  Look for more survivors or prisoners in the depths of the city.  No prisoner should die.  You’re stepping into dangerous territory as the town assaults are coming from the enemy command post.  Release the remaining British prisoners and cover their withdrawal.
My advice for success:  This part is so difficult and you have to make sure that if someone dies it’s not you and not the soldiers.  Save as many as you can.

Level 3:  Prepare an ambush by planting a bomb on the road, right next to the rock.  This is to attack ammunition supplies needed by German rail guns.  Place the bomb next to the first truck convoy so the assault will neutralize the remaining trucks with explosives.  Search the nearest enemy position for information about the location of the German rail guns.  Seek and destroy these guns.
My advice for success:  Do not ever become cocky.  You can only go after the sniper, otherwise you may be killed.

Level 4:  Wait for the shipment of Allied ammunition to arrive.  While in combat, get the ammo and give it to the Allies so they can maintain the line of defense.  Maintain the first line of defense on the mountain as long as possible.  Regroup on the second line of defense, down on the road Mount.  Hang onto the second line and when retreating make your way to the Castle of Monte Battaglia.  It is across the battlefield and you can reach it using underground tunnels that lead right to it.  Find the radius at the top of the castle to ask for an air raid.  Using a sniper rifle and some anti-tank defenses, defend the radio tower while the operator manages the transmission requesting the air raid bombing.  This is the first time you have had to ask for air support while defending your position.
My advice for success:  This part is hell.  There are plenty of Germans and they come in waves.  They manage to reach the radio and you have to shoot them off the balcony with your sniper rifle.  You need to protect the Alava radio and have to watch your back as you’re alone all this time.  When you finally succeed in sending the message for air support, you’ve got to get to the ground floor as quickly as possible so that you can then enjoy the show.

    Tricks:

Then I put a list of codes. But as always, I say, the tricks are fun, but do not help us to do better in the game and remember any game is designed so that you can not win, just takes practice and practice.

    Important Information.

Medal of Honor: Spearhead expands on the game Medal of Honor: Allied Assault.  This turns out to be a relatively short game that only has 3 missions, less than the original game.

    History.

This game takes place during the years 1944 – 1945.  Sergeant Jack Barns, of the 101st Airborne Division is the main character.  The game has many new characters and new weapons as well.  The game includes some very challenging scenarios.
Medal of Honor:  Allied Assault Spearhead (MOHAAS) reminds us of some of the most significant battles of World War II which brought about the fall of Nazi Germany. There are reminders of the Normandy invasion involving the 101st Airborne Division (before disembarking) all the way to the fall of Berlin which involved the help from the Red Army.



    Missions and objectives

The game has only 3 historic missions, and they have 2 to 4 levels that you can strive for with each mission. My tip for you is if you complete a hidden target, you can be awarded a medal.

    Mission 1: Operation Overlord France


Level 1: Using a parachute, jump into enemy territory, eliminate the antiaircraft positions and meet the British paratroopers.
My Tip for Success: This is not as difficult as it seems if you can use the utmost discretion to control the mill, then the scenario is yours.
Level 2: Destroy the German AA Flak positions 88mm and succeed in crossing the river.
My Tip for Success: You have to play a lot at being a sniper and also since the British know where to go follow them every step of the way.
Level 3: Kill a German colonel destroying a Tiger Tank with a Flak 88.  Destroy the Flak 88.  Pick up the explosives launched by a C-47. Destroy the communications center of the town.  And destroy the bridge before the train with the load crosses it.
My Tip for Success: Okay at first this mission is difficult. The river landing is not, in my opinion, the worst part, but blowing up the bridge is. This is very difficult due to the large number of soldiers that are coming in from the fog.
Warning: It is necessary that the English captain remain alive throughout the entire mission.

    Mission 2: Battle of the Bulge, Belgium


Level 1: Destroy 4 Nebelwerfers, entering the reservoir being carried on the German ammunition truck.
Hidden Optional Objective: Destroy all Panzers.
My Tip for Success: This quest is hard but if you keep your fighters alive it will be easy.
Level 2: Escort the ammunition truck back to the Allied lines.
My advice for success: Be careful and watch out for all the surprise attacks by German heavy ammunition.
Level 3: You need to report to the captain to get orders.  Find a doctor so that the doctor can go to the captain.  Hold the first German line without anyone crossing, I mean it. Go to the second line and hold the position while looking for a Panzercheck that is in the ground ready to destroy the Panzers.  Return to the first line and then stop the last wave of Germans.
My Tip for Success: This part is very difficult at all levels because these missions occur at night and with few benchmarks, it is easy to get lost. I recommend that you save the mission every time you stop a wave of Germans.

Level 4: Cross the German lines safely, always looking out for the captain, clear the church, follow the captain, clear and use the Flak 88, or the Panzercheck to destroy the Panzer.  Follow the captain and clear the hotel, follow the captain and subvert the Stuka, JU 87 with anti-aircraft battery, which can be found near the captain.
My Tip for Success: The church is easy but the hotel resort is full of snipers and they are supported by machine guns. I recommend using the sniper rifle and the Thompson submachine gun.

    Mission 3: Berlin and the German Nazis


Level 1: Stop the German counterattack, enter Berlin, find an allied aircraft that has been shot down, pick up a map to the plane, look for the Foreign Ministry building, enter the building, find the documents of the double agents, look for the combination to the safe that contains the documents, open the safe, collect documents, exit the building through the back and retrieve the Soviet T-34 tank, stolen by the Germans.
Optional Objective hidden: Destroy all German vehicles, as many as possible. In this you need to uses a lot of imagination.
My Tip for Success:  I only say that this is very intense.  Snipers are everywhere.  Before destroying any enemy weapons I recommend you think whether or not you will need them.  A detail her, you are a Soviet soldier and you have to adapt to the new weapons very fast.  I do not like any of the Soviet weapons.

Level 2: Drive to the Soviet lines just outside Berlin, destroy the high bridge, which is next to the one that is below the bridge, meet with the Soviets, resist the German counterattack until a Soviet aircraft destroys the bridge underneath.
My Tip for Success: This part is super tough and you have to go slowly, so you do not destroy the tank.  When you return to the initial position, put the tank looking to Berlin in the dead end street, will be easier to resist.

    Tricks:

For the cheat console, you must go to activate shortcut icon, I recommend you do a new one, works best and add the following parameters:
+set ui_console 1 +set cheats 1 +set thereisnomonkey 1
Press half of the game then the tilde or Ñ to activate the console and put the code you want:
COORD: Print locallizacion of angles.
DOG: God mode.
FULLHEALT: Life to the fullest.
FULLHEALD: Heal player.
Giveweapon WEAPONS /?. TIK: Gives the weapon you put where? = Name of the weapon.
HEALTH: Set life.
wuss: All weapons will give you all the weapons, but the enemy weapons have no sound.
