Summary of the book:

The story begins in Venice in 1609, just before Galileo begins his research on how to improve the telescope. A man from the Netherlands, told Galileo; that in his country have discovered how to use lenses to thank the small view objects. Galileo discovered the potential of the telescope to the military in the defense because it allows you to see by boat or enemy troops advance.
