Summary of the book:

The city of Ankh-Morpork is governed by a patrician, Lord Vetinari, which has legalized murder, theft, begging and prostitution to keep them controlled. The Guild of Murderers and Thieves receive a share of murders and "reasonable" theft, and the system is operating normally. Except for the Night Watch, which has been reduced to three men: Captain Sam Vimes, Sergeant Colon and Corporal Nobby Nobbs. The institution is degraded and debased.

Moreover, in the mountains, the king of dwarves mine decides to send his adopted son carrot to join the Guard for a man is made. Using a magic book stolen, summon a dragon to instill fear in the people of AnkhMorpork.

The book is full of funny, sarcastic and hilarious moments, I recommend it is easy to read and entertaining.
