The Orion Nebula M42 or NGC 1976

Hello fellows of Cyberspace, today I want to share these astrophotographs that I have taken of M42 through the network of telescopes of Slooh these photos are with the telescope Canary Two.
This diffuse nebula that is located to the south of Orion's belt is one of the brightest that exist and under optimal conditions can be observed at naked eyes. It is about 1270 light years from the earth and has a diameter of about 24 light years. In ancient documents they refer to it as Enesis is a Latin word that meaning Sword.

I hope you like it

Open cluster M35 or NGC 2168

Hello fellows of Cyberspace, today I want to share these astrophotographs that I have taken of M35 through the network of telescopes of Slooh these photos are with the telescope Canary Three
Is an open cluster in the constellation Gemini. It was discovered by Philippe Loys de Chéseaux in 1745 and independently discovered by John Bevis before 1750. The cluster is scattered over an area of the sky almost the size of the full moon and is located (2,800 light-years) from Earth.

We can Appreciate the lower right to NGC 2158 is the group of yellow stars.

I hope you like it

Open cluster M37 or NGC 2099

Hello fellows of Cyberspace, today I want to share these astrophotographs that I have taken to the M37 Open Cluster through the Slooh telescope network. These photos are with the Canario Uno telescope.
It can be seen that it is the richest open cluster in the Auriga constellation. It was discovered by Giovanni Batista Hodierna before 1654.
Its estimated distance ranges between 3600 and 4700 light years, with a real diameter between 20 and 25 light years. It contains several Delta Scuti variable stars (such as V6, V8 or V11), two eclipsing binaries Algolidas of type EA (V1 and V2, of periods not determined to date ), three eclipsing binaries of type EW (V3, V4 and V7) and several red binary spectroscopic giants. Sofar  no extrasolar planets have been discovered in the cluster.I hope you like it

Ubuntu 17.10 Artful Aardvark.

Hello fellow of Cyberspace, today I want to talk about my experience with the new operating system of Ubuntu version 17.10, I will start with the changes, the things that I liked and the ones that did not, without further more let star

-Environment:

This new version has great changes one of the most notable is that it no longer uses Unity and Canonical's ideas of convergence that never came. With this version it is clear to us that Ubuntu wants to go back to GNOME, something that I personally like. Us you can expect this new changes are not for everyone's taste, social media have been very busy on the subject in addition to having proposed other ideas such as; KDE, Mate or never to see Unity left, but it never rains to everyone's taste.

You can see that GNOME has improved a lot over the years, we all know that it is not the lightest environment, but it is very functional and flexible so you get used to it quickly. What has surprised me in this Ubuntu 17.10 is how fluid it is in a computer with very few resources, or with very used processors.

-Other details:

The convenience offered by Ubuntu to install packages is superior.

The system starts immediately.

The animations of the icons and when starting applications I liked it a lot.

The changes when installing Apps from the store are very efficient and is one of the best in a long time.

I was surprised at the speed at which the Snap packages are installed.

Unified calendar, clock and notification center which will allow us to be very organized, we also have control of what applications can use the notifier.

I know there is the new graphics call Wayland, I do not see any difference, when it comes to using multimedia or different windows, but it works very well.

Rhythmbox looks better.

The control center is more intuitive.

GDM is our new section start manager, very comfortable and focused on multi-users.

Intelligence transparencies are a great change and have versatility.

-What I do not like:

It does not have extended support.

Canonical has given a very personal touch but trying to make the transition from Unity as uncomfortable as possible, something not very nice.

Some personalization options have been removed.

Highly recommended that this new version be installed as a new one since the updates will leave us down.

It has given me problems synchronizing my account.

Wayland has given me problems with some games.

When you open many tabs in browsers, the system slows down.

My recommendation is to wait for the version 18.06 is going to become more robust and will have extended support just have to wait to open 2018.

I hope you liked it there, till next time.

Thought for the Day -Malevolence

Inside every person's heart is a bad thought. If we call that malevolence, then it exists in me too. The concept of malevolence is so great that I can not know if one day my mind can comprehend it, there are many questions and the answers are not clear.
For example, if I do harm to one evil person, to save many others, is that a malevolent act?
Do we all embrace malevolence the moment we admit the existence of a necessary evil, for a greater good?
Maybe it's not fair to ask these questions, we are imperfect people doing the best we can, perhaps the truth is that humans may need to face malevolence every day, so we recognize our weaknesses so as a consequence we can grow and do better.

The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym of Nantucket-Edgar Allan Poe

Original title: The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym of Nantucket

Author Name: Edgar Allan Poe
ISBN: 0008166773
Original Language: English

I have not been able to confirm that there is a Spanish version.

Genre: Lost World, adventure novel at sea and gothic novel

Publisher: Penguin Publishing Group

Current year of publication: 1999

Year of reading: 2017

Additional Information:
Other writers have made a second part of this book my favorite by the time is that of Jules Gabriel Verne The sphinx of the ice.

Summary of the work:
A great novel has served as inspiration to other great writers.
In this exciting novel where Edgar, plays very well with the following topics; riot, carnage, shipwreck, famine, revenge. At the same time he succeeds in submerging the reader in the feelings of abandonment and despair, or of relief and hope.
Edgar's inspiration is probably rooted in the books of J.N. Reynolds, but you can clearly see Edgar throughout the book.
I could not help but notice how Edgar treats African Americans contemptuously in his novel. I do not know if he tried to express his own opinion or if it was only a characterization of his characters.
My preferred part of this novel is the very light but very informative description you can see yourself in a boat or in the mountain edge, the suspense is very well carried, one of my favorite parts is the encounter with the natives and the difficulties that brings the clash of cultures.

4G HotSpot MF64 - Z64

This HostSpot is not as effective as advertised. To start is only 4G and if you connect more than 3 computers the download speed is almost nil. However, let us see more about this HotSpot.

Let us start with the design is very compact and minimalist, literally only has two buttons one to turn on, turn off and the other for the WPS function. It is very light. The glossy black on the front gives it a touch of elegance; the white plastic area gives the feeling of very cheap.
  • The screen is 1.4 "OLED LCD, easy to read, the text is in green something that pleases me and allows us to visualize the password.
  • Once connected to the HostSpot, it allows us to access the configuration web page that has all the basic options for a secure and reliable configuration.

  • The level of the battery has been disappointing and it is only 2300 mAh, which gives us only about four hours of use and scarce a hundred hours of waiting.
  • The processor is a unique MDM8200A ARM926 with a speed of 256MHz
  • The memory is 64 MB RAM, 128 MB ROM which is too small to process eight computers, allows us to expand it with MicroSD ™ up to 32GB

  • In the network, we have the following connectivity options for 2G / 3G / 4G / LTE. 2G: 850 / 1900MHz. 3G / 4G: 850 / AWS / 1900MHZ.
  • Wi-Fi offers these options: 802.11 B / G. With these security protocols WEP, WPA, WPA2, TKIP.
  • The speed of internet access in my best circumstances that are very difficult to obtain or maintain is as follows: Maximum downlink speed: 20.6Mb / s. Maximum uplink speed: 5.03Mb / s

Thought of the day by Chen Stormstout

To ask why we fight is to ask why the leaves fall. It is in their nature. Perhaps, there is a better question.
Why do we fight? To protect Home, and Family… To preserve Balance, and bring Harmony.
For my kind, the true question is: What is worth fighting for?
